Abstracts will be published in a conference booklet to be handed to each conference participant. Presenting at the conference will help you gain international recognition for your work and boost your profile among the world’s leading big data experts.
Four young researchers will be selected for a travel grant of 800 €.

Submission Guidelines

In order to submit your abstract, click the link that you received in the validation email that you received after you registered for the conference. This will lead you to your personal profile, where you have to log in with your registration number and the email address you used to register. The online submission system will dictate the format of the abstracts.
Please be aware that the abstracts will be printed exactly as provided. Therefore, any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific content will be reproduced as written by the candidate.

Poster Session

The ‘Poster session’ will host a limited amount of presentations, which will be selected based on the submitted abstracts. Abstracts will be selected based on quality and originality of research. The time slots allocated for this section will be in the breaks and the receptions, for the entire duration of the conference (see programme).

Poster design

Posters should be designed in vertical A0 format (118.9 x 84.1 cm or 46.81 x 33.11 inch). The title should be typed in capital letters and the authors should appear next, underlining the author who presents the poster, followed by the address of the authors. Leave one blank line between the title and the authors, and one blank line between the name of the authors and the address. Logos should not exceed the final size of 5×5 cm and should be placed in one of the corners of the poster only.

Poster set-up

A poster number for poster presentation will be assigned to you before the conference (you may find your poster number in the abstract booklet that will be handed to you at the registration desk). Please look for the board with you poster number indicated. Candidates will be helped by the on-site guidance for setting-up their poster and pins will be provided.
