Dr. Grit Mallien received her doctorate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with specialization in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) from the University of Potsdam (Germany) in 2002. After her PhD, Dr. Mallien worked for over 15 years in a clinic headed by Prof. Dr. Georg Ebersbach in Beelitz-Heilstätten (Germany), which is specialized in Parkinson’s disease. She then opened her own practice in Berlin called Doktor Logo, specialized in speech, voice and dysphagic disorders..
Dr. Mallien is a board member of the German PSP association and her research focuses in neurological based speech and voice disorders in Parkinson‘s disease. Dr. Mallien is also a member of the LSVT Global faculty and an expert in rehabilitation after a neurological injury or disease.
